Young Scientists

The Young Scientists Forum (YSF) is an event that has been integrated into the ESB conference programme, which is aimed at discussing biomaterials education and training in Europe, emphasising existing and emerging career opportunities, in addition to traditional research opportunities in the field.

Discussion is fostered by creating an interactive environment amongst participants, thus promoting an enriching discussion on topics that concern everyone who has just graduated, or is intending to do so, in a Biomaterials Science.

Previous YSFs have resulted in the creation of the “European Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Doctoral Award” (EBTEDA). The first awards were announced in February 2006.

The terms of YSF membership can be found here.

A detailed programme for the YSF will be published here in due course.
